Formed in 2015 for a performance at the Lichfield Blues and Jazz Festival, the Nick Dewhurst Band brings together all of Nick’s favourite elements of jazz: proper melodies, juicy harmony, infectious grooves, soaring solos, and great friends. The band takes the shape of a quintet, with a hard bop influenced trumpet and tenor sax lead, supported by a modern sounding rhythm section of piano/keys, electric and double bass, and drums.
